ABOUT

damo sig.png

Damian grew up in the small town of Injune, Queensland, Australia, where rodeo and the outdoors quickly became a way of life. Starting out in local arenas, he developed a strong foundation in Saddle Bronc Riding that eventually took him across the world to Western Texas College. There, he balanced a scholarship education in welding and agricultural business with his growing success in rodeo.

In 2022, Damian stepped into the professional ranks full-time, immediately making an impact as the Resistol Rookie of the Year. The following year he earned a College National Championship, qualified for his first NFR, and captured two go-round victories, finishing the season inside the top five in the world standings. His momentum carried into 2024, where he broke the regular season earnings record with more than $280,000, won marquee titles at Rodeo Houston and the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, and entered the NFR ranked number one—ultimately claiming the Reserve World Champion title.

Behind each of these accomplishments stands a team of sponsors who make his journey possible. Their support has had a tremendous impact on his career, providing the resources and opportunities needed to compete at the highest level. Damian is proud to represent these partners and deeply grateful for the role they play in his continued success.

Outside the arena, he remains true to his roots, spending time starting young horses, mustering cattle, and working on his family’s cattle station. His dedication to the western lifestyle and the sport of rodeo continues to drive him forward, fueled by both passion and the community that stands behind him.
